Lamy is the brand that got me into fountain pens. They have so many iconic products. That said, I'm fully convinced the 2000 is their best product, and the odd one out in their lineup.

FYI - I misspoke somewhere in there - my first gold nib pen was a Lamy 2000, not a Lamy Safari
