NH 448 is a 50 km long National Highway in India connecting Kishangarh and Nasirabad in Rajasthan.
Ajmer is one of the major cities in the Indian state of Rajasthan and the centre of the eponymous Ajmer District. It is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains.
According to the 2011 census, Ajmer city had a population of 5,42,321.
The city was established as "Ajayameru" by a Shakambhari Chahamana (Chauhan) ruler, either Ajayaraja I or Ajayaraja II, and served as the Chahamana capital until the 12th century CE.
