Memory addressing techniques refer to the ways in which we can locate specific memory locations to perform memory access operations.
We will start by discussing the different types of memory available in a computer system, such as registers, cache, RAM, and ROM. We will then dive into the basics of memory addressing, including direct addressing, indirect addressing, and indexed addressing. We will explain how each technique works and give examples of when to use each one.
Next, we will explore more advanced memory addressing techniques, such as base-offset addressing and stack-based addressing. We will explain how these techniques work and give examples of when they are useful.
