Today I have shared the recipe of Farali Upma for fasting. Usually we make Moraiya Khichdi / Sama Khichdi on ekadashi. But today we make Farali Upma with using the Sama Rice. We can make it within twenty minutes so must try this recipe and don't forget to give your valuable feedback in comment section.
Ingredients -
Serving - 3 person (૩ વ્યક્તિ માટે)
1 Cup Moraiya/Sama Rice/Varai/Bhagar (મોરૈયો)
4 tbsp Fresh Curd (તાજું દહીં)
3 tbsp Groundnut Oil (સીંગતેલ)
4-5 Cashew Nuts (કાજુનાં ટુકડા)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds/Jeera (જીરું)
7-8 Curry leaves (મીઠો લીમડો)
3 Sliced Green Chillies (સમારેલા લીલા મરચા)
1 Cup Chopped Potatoes (છોલીને સમારેલા બટાકા)
3 tbsp Peanuts (કાચા સીંગદાણા)
1/2 Cup Chopped Green Capsicum (સમારેલા ગ્રીન કેપ્સિકમ)
2 tbsp Roasted Peanut Powder (શેકેલા સીંગદાણાનો પાવડર)
As per taste Rock Salt/Sendha Namak (સિંધવ મીઠું)
As required Water (પાણી)
1 tbsp Lemon Juice (લીંબુનો રસ)
4 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves (સમારેલી કોથમીર)
As required Farali Chivda (For Garnishing) (સજાવટ માટે ફરાળી ચેવડો)
Serve it hot with Farali Chutney (ફરાળી ઉપમાને ફરાળી ચટણી સાથે ગરમાગરમ સર્વ કરો)
