Having tires that are the correct tire pressure is crucial to a smooth and safe drive. Over time your tires can lose air leading to a higher risk of an auto accident. In a lot of newer year vehicles, the manufactures have included a tire pressure monitoring system which alerts you when 1 or more of your tires are low. When you change out your tires or rotate them, it throws off your monitoring system and it will need to be reset. This video shows you how to reset your TPMS on Chevy Traverse 09-17 which is also the same for many other Chevy and GMC vehicles.
