Best Practice: Update of a Complex TYPO3 Website

How do you update the websites of a major city from TYPO3 version 8.7 to 10.4 with no downtime?
This presentation shows you, how we updated the websites of the city of Pforzheim.
With a new workflow we updated the sites and applied a new design. The site content in version 10.4 was continiously updated with the content the editors made in version 8.7.
