If you have a pile of old CD's or old DVD's that are scratched, and you don't know what to do with them, this project is for you.  It is easy and you can  make it  in about an hour. You can go into your scrap fabrics and use up some of those materials that you have been keeping (for ever) to use for this activity. With only a couple of CD's, fabric, fusible batting and buttons, this project can be made for your family that likes to play cards, or you can make several to sell at a craft fair.
These holders are great for young kids to use when playing Go Fish or other card games.  They are especially great for those that are older or have arthritis in their hands and want to continue playing card games.  Any type of card game that you need to hold, such as canasta, where there are a lot of cards to hold in your hand and organize, these card holders work well.
