Bhanu started his acting career on stage as a stand-up comedian. Eventually, he joined films and was also popular on the radio. He is a sole example of a comedy actor who turned into a star.
Anupam Sarkar is a young & talented mimicry artist who has earned popularity due to his unique mimicry of Bhanu Bandyopadhyay. Keeping the subjects Bhanubabu dealt with, Anupam too creates comic content on contemporary subjects and enacts the role of Bhanu Bandyopadhyay in the said comics. His subjects deal with wife & husband situations circling around funny tussles with a happy ending generally.
