LNER 60009 'Union of South Africa' - Driving Experience - Nene Valley Railway

During LNER Class A4 60009 'Union of South Africa's last visit to the Nene Valley Railway late summer of 2018, I took part in a driver's experience in which I took to the footplate of the streak and got my hands dirty firing and driving the loco along the 7.5 mile line. Knowing the A4s eventual removal from service was coming (and has now unfortunately possibly passed), it was an experience and opportunity that I could not pass on. This video shows the highlights as a bucket list item was ticked off!
