In this video lesson, we will focus on how to set up and configure a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation for solving an external flow over a Formula SAE car using Ansys Fluent. We will learn how to use multiple reference frames (MRF) regions for wheel rims, rotating walls for wheel tires, translating wall conditions for ground, and much more. Additionally, we will also explore the GEKO model for solving the complex FSAE simulation. Finally, we will learn how to monitor convergence of an FSAE car simulation and learn when to continue the solution in transient mode.
