In this video I show you how to fix joycon drift by replacing the joystick with an aftermarket joystick. Don't waste your time inserting shims into the joycon, just replace the joystick.
When working on the right controller and you're putting everything back together, don't forget to reinsert the gray cable of the Bluetooth chip into the groves.
When inserting the ribbon back in the connector, the latch needs to be in the open position or else the ribbon cable can't slide in.
The connector latches are delicate, only use plastic tools to lift them. If you use a metal tool, be very careful because you can damage them and that would suck.
