Have a great idea for an app for the Apple Vision Pro but aren't sure where to start? Or perhaps you'd love to have an idea for an app for the Apple Vision Pro, but don't have a clue what's really even possible yet? Either way, you're in the perfect spot!
Over the last few months of piecing an app of my own together I've encountered countless questions that I've had to claw tooth and nail to get answers for, and I don't see the sense in everyone else struggling as well. While there has been plenty of excitement to accompany this new device, there hasn't been quite as much content yet and I'm being the change I seek in that department for once haha.
This video breaks down the following topics in extremely focused, bite sized chunks:
- Setting up Xcode and your Simulator
- Running your custom apps on the Vision Pro over wifi
- High level overview of the different ways to present content to a user
- Creating a skybox in an immersive scene
- Adding ambient sounds to an immersive scene
- Adding weather via particle emitters to an immersive scene
This video is just the first of a series if there's any desire for it. I, like many of you, have felt a ton of energy and enthusiasm developing for this product and I really do think a rising tide lifts all ships. I can't wait to see what everyone ends up creating for this incredible new platform, which, with any luck, is a wild sneak peak of the world of tomorrow.
