Opposed training exercises are necessary for acquiring key battle skills. Zen live training solutions offer two sided training in a full-size battlefield or terrorist scenario.
The tactical engagement simulator or TacSim can include up to 5000 soldiers along with armored vehicles and tanks in an area spanning 40 square kilometres to simulate a full-fledged opposed battle.
Trainees wear specially designed lightweight body harnesses with laser sensors. Weapons are fitted with eye-safe laser units to simulate fire. The trajectory and impact are automatically simulated depending on the type of weapon the soldier is carrying.
All training data is transmitted securely to the control station where the exercise commander can see the movement of troops and vehicles
The training system enables inclusion of tanks and armored carrier vehicles in the exercise to train for tank manoeuvre, field craft and gunnery skills. Area weapon effects are simulated to include artillery strikes.
