Oh gosh ALL my Veronica Mars feels are reawakened... where to begin with my description for this.

I guess I'll begin with the song. I believe this song is an extremely brilliant poetic (so obviously open for interpretation) way to allude to a story of a relationship almost ending forever because the singer accused her wonderful, did-no-wrong partner she was dating of cheating on her. She was "triggered", got simply a "sense" she was betrayed, and let it build quietly without discussing her feelings, until it was all exploding into a quite extreme (warlike) attack, things like "punishing" the guy for "things he never did", causing him to become "broken and blue" and hurt. She blames the scenario on her past traumas of having been cheated on before making her hyper-sensitive to assuming it from even a guy who's not doing so.

I managed to find some great Logan moments for that point of view that I completely forgot about — I forgot after he's broken up with Veronica and sees her start to date Piz, knowing she slept alone in a room with Piz once, he has multiple scenes wondering if she cheated on him with Piz, and I also had forgotten that in episode 1x02 Logan dates Caitlin Ford (literally played by Paris Hilton) for just the one episode but she's cheating on him with Chardo. I remembered that Lilly cheated on him with Weevil (and with his dad too...) but I didn't realize it would work so well that his past actually is coming back to affect him suspecting Veronica of stuff she didn't do, so I did my best to squeeze that in to my video ;)

I was really mostly super inspired by the intense end of s1 back-to-back dramas of her separately accusing him/believing him capable of two horrific crimes he didn't commit, rape and murder, and finding a lot of the other lyrics fitting for generally the characters & the entire show — "bloodshed" being the first one that stood out to me as a LoVe shipper moment — sucker punching walls had way too many options and I couldn't fit them all in to just that one small start of the video, etc etc...

(Did you know that while season 4 of Veronica Mars never references back to the "epic" speech in the show itself, the final ever episode, 4x08, is titled "Years, Continents, Bloodshed"? Lol because I only found out while editing this video...)

(another fun fact which I already mentioned to Supsi85 when we were chatting was that while rewatching scenes to prepare for this video, I literally heard a cover of the song "Crimson and Clover" playing in the scene of Logan being stood up on his date with Veronica on that boat at the end of 1x20... had to vid it as an semi-inside joke of a match to the lyric, it was too perfect. :) Now you know too!)

I'm really proud of so much about this video of mine, even if I know it's a really "busy" and rushed video in some ways, it's not going to be a style that appeals to everyone. I rewatched SO much of the show and pretty much all their scenes, some scenes multiple times, all for the purpose of making this one video the best it could be. I found 3 matches I'm pretty proud of for the lyrics about "surviving" the great war ;) I found way more bloodshed moments than I could use. I squeezed in 2 good bomb scenes because I didn't want to have to settle on only using one the one time the "bomb" lyric comes up, similarly I vidded two different scenes to match the one "sweet dream" lyric because I figured why narrow down to just one if I don't absolutely have to? Lol. Etc etc.

I had to render in layers. 4 times to get the coloring to work. One NewBlue FX at a time is all that works?
