The "Dynasty" reboot on The CW has found its Alexis.
Actress Nicollette Sheridan has been cast as Alexis Carrington, the first wife of Blake Carrington, played by Grant Show.
The role was originally made famous by Joan Collins.
Sheridan is no stranger to the prime-time soap genre. She was a cast member of "Desperate Housewives" for six seasons and also appeared on the "Dallas" spin-off "Knots Landing."
"Dynasty" airs Wednesdays on The CW at 9 p.m. EST.
