For-purpose' app - data federation PLM & ERP (Tc, SAP, Oracle EBS)

eQube Data Federation in Tc AWC Tc + SAP + Oracle EBS in a  Virtual Private Cloud.


Here is an example of how eQube-MI's API Gateway feature can expose functionality from multiple applications. This allows us to have a federation of data where the user can view related data from Teamcenter as well as SAP on a single screen and also change and update this data.

In this example the following information is used
-eBOM is fetched from Teamcenter
-Inventory and Cost from SAP
-Warranty  & claims information from Oracle E-Business Suite

For this demonstration was set up in an Amazon Virtual Private could

The user simply sees a single web page (inside Teamcenter's Active Workspace UI), But the information that the user sees comes from all three of these systems. The user now sees a complete picture of the information rather than silos of data split across these 3 applications.

eQube-MI API Gateway exposes REST services that fetch data from all 3 systems. The Web page consumes these web services an provides a common federated interface for the user.
In this example the user updates data to SAP. This can be extended to update all the systems involved.
