As for specifications, the 2022 BYD Han EV sports a more powerful front motor, and the rear motor, included in the 4WD configuration, produces the same output as in the current model.
According to a report from k.sina.com.cn, the 2022 Han EV will be available in the brand’s home market in three configurations initially. The base configuration will pack a 120 kW/280 Nm front motor and the mid-level configuration will pack a 180 kW/350 Nm front motor. The top-level configuration will sport the 180 kW/350 Nm front motor and the 200 kW/350 Nm rear motor that together deliver 380 kW and 700 Nm.
The 2022 BYD Han EV will be available with a bigger, 85.44 kWh battery pack. Thanks to the higher energy content, the new model will travel up to 715 km on a full charge, a significant improvement over the current model’s 605 km maximum range (CLTC).
