This technique takes inspiration from the Mod and Punk eras. Strong, rebellious block colours are diffused in certain areas with softer shades to relax the overall boldness.

Using TIGI Copyright Colour
SHADES USED:
Formula 1 −
30g gloss 3/0
+45g activator 8.5vol/2.55%
Formula 2 −
20g true light white
+20g activator 30vol/9%
Formula 3 − Purple Ruby
25g gloss 55/66
+5g gloss 55/22
+45g activator 8.5vol/2.55%

STEP-BY-STEP:
01. Carry out a fundamental new-growth application using Formula 1.
02. Upon completion, progress onto the back sections. Take a horizontal parting and, with a freehand blending technique, apply Formula 2 from the mid-lengths through to the ends.
03. Repeat on the opposite side.
04. Continue onto the side using the same technique.
05. Progress onto the final section. Take a horizontal parting two inches above the ear and apply Formula 2 to the mid-lengths and ends. Process the colour for up to 40 minutes then rinse and remove.
06. Tone the pre-lightened areas using Formula 3. Process visually for up to 20 minutes. Rinse and remove using Bed Head Colour Goddess Shampoo and Conditioner.
