In the next instalment of the 'German Tenses Made Simple' playlist, we have the conditional perfect tense.
This does exactly what it says... The perfect tense is used to describe actions in the past that are usually completed. The conditional tense is how we include the word 'would' (because a condition needs to be met).
The conditional perfect tense teaches you how to say what would have happened, if something else had happened in the past.
I would also like to apologise, because I think I mentioned in an earlier video that this would be the eighth tenses lesson, and then I got excited and side-tracked by the passive voice...

I would have made the video earlier if I had not been teaching about the passive 😉
Ich hätte das Video früher machen, wenn ich nicht über das Passive unterrichtet hätte.
