Siemens optimizes storage and warehouse space with AutoStore empowered by Dematic

Siemens manufacturing plant in Chemnitz, Germany produces control cabinets for companies across all industries. To improve production rates Siemens partnered with Dematic to install AutoStoreTM for a goods-to-person piece picking system with directly connected conveyor technology. With 45,000 bins the AutoStore spans only 760 sqm, allowing Siemens to condense their storage area and optimize the overall footprint of their warehouse.
