NATURAL HOME REMEDY FOR COLDS COUGHS AND FLU SYMPTOMS | HERBAL TEA RECIPE Today, I wanted to share this extremely potent natural home remedy which is great for treating colds, coughs and flu symptoms! Not only will it treat those symptoms but it also help with relieving headaches, migraines, tonsillitis, sore throat, nose, chest and throat infections etc. I assure you this is a really good natural homemade medicine in the form of a herbal tea. I promise you, that it is extremely effective and you will feel a difference within the first 24 hours. What prompted me to share this video was the other night my son was developing another one of those horrible coughs that come around this time of year. He was coughing so badly during the night that I couldn't sleep - his coughing disturbed my sleep all the way in the next bedroom! In the morning I got to work and decided to record this video. I wanted to share this video because as a mother I understand how horrible it is to hear your child with a terrible cough, that none of these over the counter cough medicines can fix. So, then I thought, "Why not share this remedy?" Although, if I am honest, I have shared this remedy on my channel before but not in this format. So, although this content is not my typical content I wanted to help other families by sharing this herbal teaspecially around this season where almost everyone gets ill because of the cold weather. Here is a little more information about the wonderful ingredients used in this tea: GARLIC - rich in vitamins A, B, C and E. It is an excellent remedy for all types of chest infections. It is good for colds, flu, ear infections, and it helps reduce catarrh. GINGER - has antiviral activity and is a first rate remedy for coughs, colds, flu and other respiratory problems. Despite it's warming properties, ginger stimulates sweating and helps to coll and control fevers. LEMON - Rich in Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3 and C. This is great for relieving fevers. Lemon juice is good for colds, flu and chest infections. It stimulates liver detoxification, improves the appetite and helps ease stomach acidity, ulcers, arthritis, gout and rheumatism. CINNAMON - This can help prevent and treat type 2 diabetes, increasing cells' ability to respond to insulin and aiding the stabilization of blood sugar levels. It can also help to relieve period cramps and might have a normalizing effect on menstrual bleeding - controlling heavy bleeding but stimulating flow where it is light. TURMERIC - is largely taken as a supplement to prevent cancer, dementia, and many auto-immune diseases. Black pepper is traditionally taken with turmeric to augment its efficacy. This effect is now supported by research. Turmeric improves the action.
