Thinking of building your own soundproof music studio in your garden? Here's part 2 where I show you how the studio was built - the process, cost and techniques that worked! I managed to build it for under £20,000 - it's fully insulated with acoustic glass windows, acoustic security door and a room-in-a-room design for extra sound isolation. I have electrics and internet, heating and acoustic treatment....and if I can do it, so can you!
Below are the basic costs (at the end of 2022) when the price of everything had gone up (of course!) but it still came in under budget.
