In 1995 Seadoo unveiled a watercraft that truly stood out and would leave a lasting impression on those who experienced it. Enthusiasts and racers alike praise the Seadoo hx. Unfortunately Seadoo only made the hx from 1995 through 1997. Perhaps overshadowed by its sibling pwc the reworked for 95 xp. Or being labeled as unstable at slow speeds, difficult to re board, and not beginner friendly. Ultimately lead to the discontinuation of the model. Why do people love these skis so much? And why did they discontinue the hx model line?

In the video we will be exploring the answers to these questions. While working on and test riding our 1995 Seadoo hx that has a Yamaha 1200 engine swapped into it. Taking it from the stock 85 hp to 130 horsepower.
