Squirrel Food Block Recipe

This recipe shows how you can make squirrel food at home. The recipe changes every batch. Freeze or refrigerate after cutting it up or it will spoil. Squirrels can have 2 a day to get enough nutrients.

Please research Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) in squirrels if you are unfamiliar. Certain foods use calcium to process and if there isn’t enough calcium in their diet it will be pulled from their bones leaving them brittle like glass. It can be very painful, break bones easy, and be a slow and painful death.
