Learn how to replace the heating element on this Electrolux electric dryer model EIMED55IIW0. The dryer was displaying error code E-64 / E64 which indicates an open circuit on the heating element. I inspect and replace the heating element part number 134792700.
If you don't feel comfortable taking your dryer apart don't even try to attempt this. I'm not an expert, just a homeowner making a repair. If in question contact a qualified repair technician. Always unplug your appliance before making any repairs.
If you would like to try to prevent the heating element from burning up, you must clean the lint out of the dryer as shown in my video here:
