✓ METHI NA PUDA RECIPE INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
* Chickpea / Chana (Besan)
* Yoghurt (Dahi)
* Fresh Fenugreek Leaves (Methi)
* Spring Onion (can also use White or Red Onion) (Dungri)
* Finely Chopped Garlic (Lasun)
* Finely Chopped Ginger (Adhu)
* Green Chillies (Lilu Mirchu) optional if some people don't want it hot.
* Turmeric Powder (Harad)
* Salt (Nimak)
* Water (Pani)

It's about time we shared our family's recipe for making these delicious "Desi" chickpea flour pancakes which are very popular in Indian households and especially popular in Gujarati homes (no wheatflour is used in the recipe so it is also gluten free).

If you want the pancakes to be vegan then just leave out the yogurt and add a bit more water accordingly.

The pancakes are enjoyed all over Gujarat and they make an especially great breakfast or are packed for picnic lunches for Gujaratis' and Indians.

We love eating freshly made food that is blessed by hand and human touch and further energised and charged by positive thoughts, nutritious home cooked food!!!

It's ultimate comfort food which is easy to make and should ideally be served piping hot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but can also be cooled down and taken on picnics. Enjoy with pickle or chutney.
