How to pair a firestick remote

This video shows you how to pair your firestick remote to an Amazon firestick. The easiest way is to use the Amazon Fire TV app. Use the app to connect to the firestick. You can use the app as a remote. Use the app to navigate to settings. Then navigate to controller and Bluetooth devices. Then select Amazon fire TV remote. Select add new remote. Then grab the Amazon fire TV remote. Press the home button until the light on the remote flashes quickly. The light might be flashing slowly at first, wait till the light flashes quickly, then let go of the home button. Then grab your cell phone and use the Fire TV app. Press the select button to pair the remote. This is the pairing solution.

I forgot to mention that the smart phone and firestick must be connected to the same wifi network in order for the firestick app to work.
