About the presentation: FACS has had limited utility for antibody cell line development because of a requirement for cell surface immunoglobulin expression. Antibody Membrane Switch (AMS) technology addresses this dilemma by utilizing a unique switch mechanism to turn cell surface expression to optimal secretion. AMS technology enables facile cell line development (2-3 months) and permits assessment of critical product qualities besides production level early in development. AMS streamlines antibody library screening and cell line development into a single 3-month process.
