Outward has all kinds of cool weapons. Gep's Sword is extremely unique though because it does AOE damage every time you hit your enemy. It explodes in a purple bubble of flame-like particles and damages all enemies around you. It is fun to play with and really good in the right hands. The sort of quest to get it can be a bit confusing, but I laid out every single step for you so it will be easy to get. Just remember that the weapon has two forms. A longsword and a one-handed sword. Make sure you pick which one you want to use before upgrading it to the better version. You will then be unable to upgrade it without a boss reward called Gep's Generosity. That can be hard to get especially if you are in the beginning stage of the game. Great sword that you should definitely grab though.
Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized due to how realistic and difficult it is.
