Offering a unique design aimed at style-conscious, youth-focused riders with a distinctive "American" look. The Calibro represents Moto Morini's reentry into the custom motorcycle market, designed to cater to a large swath of riders while allowing them to embrace their unique personality.
The new Moto Morini Calibro has been designed at Moto Morini’s European Style Center – based in Trivolzio – by the bike manufacturer’s Italian team who have also worked on the X-Cape, SCR and STR.
Calibro boasts modern and muscular aesthetics while maintaining a modest size and weight making it ideal for daily commuting and city riding. Its modern lines combined with retro details and distinct features provide ample room for customization based on individual rider preferences.
The 2024 Moto Morini Calibro is powered by a 649cc DOHC parallel twin motor featuring Bosch EFI, a staple of the Morini range, has been reworked to deliver a pleasurable riding experience, smooth operation, and easy maintenance. The relaxed cruiser riding position can be customized by adjusting the footrests to match the rider's style. With the metal fuel tank, while the all-LED headlights have the unmistakable Moto Morini signature lighting.
The frame consists of a double steel cradle that surrounds the engine. It is equipped with 18″ tubeless aluminum wheels at the front and 16″ at the rear; the double rear shock gives the new Calibro a vintage look. The seat, which is removable at the rear, is embellished with contrasting stitching and a rear scoop that continues the line of the mudguard is supplied as an accessory for added aesthetic appeal. The seat is positioned just 720 mm off the ground.
The new Moto Morini Calibro adopts analog instrumentation integrated with a digital display that contains essential riding data, such as the fuel level and gear level indicator.
With its unique character, the Moto Morini's Calibro enters the mid-range cruiser segment as an option that should appeal to a wide swath of motorcyclists.
The Calibro will be available in both full power and limited 35 kW versions, catering to A2 license holders. The fuel-efficient engine makes it an ideal companion in a variety of situations.
Various accessories will be offered to tailor the Calibro to each rider's specific needs and ensure a comfortable yet attractive look during long journeys.
The price will be announced later, but it is expected to be less than €8,000.
