Joe lives full time on his Toyota Sienna that he built into a camper van without attaching anything permanent into it. The town he lives has a program that allows him to park safely in a parking lot and he actually has a small storage unit parked next him that he uses as his kitchen and extra storage as he continues to downsize. He chose Vanlife after a break up and because he was seeking a simpler and more free life.
