Thai Rainbows are a millipede species in the genus Apeuthes. This video documents this exotic species that has been in the US and European hobby for around two decades. Their continued availability all this time is a result of their hardiness and extreme longevity. They live in Thailand and neighboring countries, and their beauty is a consistent lure for all millipede keepers. I also show and discuss two other species in the same millipede family, Trigoniulidae, including flameleg millipedes, Trigoniulus macropygus, and rusty or scarlet millipedes, Trigoniulus corallinus. Millipede care including foods and when to change substrate are also touched on as we make some observations about this hobby favorite!
