In this video I unbox a Zeiss 35mm f/2 Distagon for a second time.
At the time I regretted selling my original. This lens is as close to optical perfection that I've ever seen. There are pretty much no trade offs. This could be the best 35mm lens, or best lens period, that has ever been made.
The Carl Zeiss 35mm f/2 Distagon lens is a high-quality prime lens designed for use with both full-frame and APS-C format cameras. It boasts a wide maximum aperture of f/2, allowing for excellent low-light performance and shallow depth-of-field effects. The lens features a classic Distagon optical design with 9 elements in 7 groups, which minimizes distortion and delivers sharp, clear images with excellent contrast and color accuracy.

Over my many years of photography I've mastered many genres but I never stop learning and I don't want you to stop either. That's why I started my YouTube Channel in the year 2020. After a hiatus from photography, I picked up my camera again just in time for the Covid Pandemic. The world shut down. With more time than ever and no humans to photograph I found myself bored but motivated. ZWade Photo, the YouTube Channel, was born.
I have always been a Nikon brand photographer, but in my community on YouTube there is limitless room for Canon, Sony, Fuji, Leica, Hasselblad, Nikon, AND any other brand, photographers.
