I live in Texas where the water gets HOT on hot days. I have a Bestway above ground pool with an Intex pump and filter. Intex sells a pool sprinkler that is all but impossible to find this time of year. With a little ingenuity and determination, it's easy to create your own DIY pool sprinkler that's cheaper and better than any on the market.
My goal was to build a sprinkler system while accomplishing 3 goals:
1 - Cheaper than buying one on the market
2 -Able to use a T-junction from the filter to the pool so that I could easily choose to divert the outbound water to the standard outlet and/or the sprinkler
3 -COOL THE POOL
I was also able to find a way to use one standard PVC fitting to convert the Intex standard tubes to PVC.
I certainly didn't create these ideas, but I was able to use many ideas from other YouTubers to create inspiration for this system.
