In this weeks Video I want to show you how i cut Semi Precious Gemstone Cabochons from Chalcedony. Using typical raw Stone Material from Malawi, with wonderful slightly cloud inclusions. Starting Analyzing the raw Material, to find a suitable Piece for cutting. It is important to find an Area with nice strong color in order to get an amazing bright blue Gemstone later. You can follow the entire sawing process in Time Lapse. Then a short Analysis of the Result and further Instructions. You can also follow the Preforming completely thanks to Time Lapse recordings. After a short Analysis of the Work, you will see all Steps from fine preforming over prepolishing to polishing in Time Lapse. With the final Analysis, I present you my Result. A beautiful, strong Blue and chunky cabochon.
