Quantum Chemistry 8.5 - Linear Variational Example

Short lecture showing an example application of the linear variational method.

The linear variational method applied to the particle in a slanted box leads to an energy expression of the particle in a box wavefunctions plus half the magnitude of the slant plus or minus a coupling element based on the slope of the slant.
