Filmed 03/15/2019 - Van Zandt County west of Canton and north of Phalba, TX.
Ecoregions: Level I - Eastern Temperate Forests(8); Level II - Southeastern USA Plains (8.3); Level III - East Central Texas Plains (33); Level IV - Northern Post Oak Savannah (33a).
There is a very small difference between the Northern and Southern Post Oak Savannahs of Texas. The north is flatter with more pastureland. The south, such as the College Station area, has more woodland and a more hilly topography. There are differences in soil too.
