In this video I discuss how to use two colors - Ultramarine Blue and Quinacridone Burnt Orange - to paint a colorful Robin. These two colors, when combined, create beautiful neutral gray and brown colors. I first swatch these two colors in various combinations and then demonstrate the complete painting process of a Robin, using only these two colors. #watercolortwocolors #robin #swatch I recommend using a limited color palette. It forces you to focus on mixing colors to achieve the colors and values you need. In this way you will better understand the characteristics of the pigments. Here are the links to the two colors I used in this painting: M.
