The LG 5K Ultrafine 27 inch monitor is certainly a welcome companion to a new Apple Macbook. Plug the laptop into the main Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C port and it instantly lights up as your main screen. It also provides power to the laptop letting you do everything with just 1 cord.
The 27 inch 5K display is one of the best monitors we've tested, but is it worth the $1300 price of entry? For Mac users, probably. PC users on the other hand won't see the same benefits and should look elsewhere.
