Laravel with Braintree

We take a look at using Braintree with Laravel. Braintree is an online payment processor that was bought out by Paypal in 2013. The main advantage they have over other payment processors like Stripe is that they have integrated Paypal payments. This allows you to have only one checkout flow in your code, making it cleaner and more maintainable.

We take a look at using Braintree's Drop in UI as well as hosted fields on the front end. We make use of its PHP SDK on the backend and integrate it into a Laravel app.

Sorry about the paypal issues, haha. It does work now after trying it a few hours later.

If you're using Braintree for subscriptions, definitely make use of Laravel Cashier.
