in this video i re-create the instrumental for "kyoto" by phoebe bridgers! i start of with the bass guitar. i learned that phoebe bridgers loves to produce her songs with a heavy emphasis on the lower frequencies! doing this will really drive your indie alternative rock song. the next thing i added for this "how to sound like phoebe bridgers" song is the guitars! i added some indie doubled guitars and a distorted muted guitar. after those indie-vibed guitars, i added the mellotron! phoebe bridgers uses a pocket piano in the original "kyoto" song, but i thought the mellotron sounded close. after the mellotron, the next thing for that indie alternative rock production vibe was the brass instruments! i added the indie drums after that. let me know who your favorite indie rock artist is! comment an artist you want to see me cover next! ✧ ☆
