Osteogenesis imperfecta is a genetic bone disease. Babies born with it have bones that break easily.

This baby had fracture at 14 days of life and had multiple fractures over time resulted in deformities of both lower limbs and unable to stand upto 5 yrs age. Baby was always carries in a small plastic chair by her parents. 2 months after getting her surgery at Rainbow Children's Hospital, the child was able to stand with support for the first time in her life which brought a smile on her parents face. Mr. Tareq Ahmed, parent of the child thanked all the doctors for helping them with this life transforming surgery for their child.
