Hello Youtube! In this video, we will show you how to fix the following problem:
Add-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073D02, The package could not be installed because resources it modifies are currently in use. error 0x80073D02: Unable to install because the following apps need to be closed Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_10.0.18362.1171_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy.
NOTE: For additional information, look for [ActivityId] e0dd1d51-1126-0006-e0a6-e7e02611d701 in the Event Log or use the command line Get-AppPackageLog -ActivityID e0dd1d51-1126-0006-e0a6-e7e02611d701
This error is quite common in the PowerShell commands and is easily fixable with a few steps. Meant for all current Windows versions: XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and of course Windows 10. This fix is meant as an easy and quick way to get your PowerShell running again but if this doesn't work, the recommendation is to first restart your PC after all the solutions and fixes, and then try reinstalling windows.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We used the StartExperienceHost.exe service to show how to fix this problem but the solution works on all Windows 10 processes and services. Just change the details and files selected in the video to the ones which you want and it should work for you.
