Tutorial on the Spring Jump. When practiced and mastered, this jump could have some tactical advantages.
Here's the theory on how it works. As you jump, the uncrouching motion is faster than the upward movement caused by jumping, and, if timed correctly, can slightly increase your upward speed and boost you to new heights.
