Twitter: twitter.com/JanCharles Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/jancharles/ Recipe: 1 pound green beans, trimmed 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon black pepper Salt, to taste 2 tablespoons water Instructions: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once the skillet is hot, add the trimmed green beans and sprinkle with salt. Cook the green beans for about 4 minutes, until they are seared and have blistered spots. Add 2 cloves of chopped garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper to the skillet. Cook the green beans for another 4 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant and the beans are crisp-tender. Add 2 tablespoons of water to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the water has evaporated and the beans are perfectly tender. Serve hot and enjoy!
