Coronavirus Quarantine: Video 25
I will be trying to post simple daily videos for inspiration for my students, and my subscribers to help give us some learning and distraction during this national emergency. Here is a link to the playlist I am adding to: Online Learning During Coronavirus
This video shows how I throw and trim a simple little salt cellar pot with a gallery and domed lid. I trimmed the knob of the lid from the excess clay I left when throwing the lid rather than attaching a knob. A gallery is a (usually) notched edge on the inner edge of the rim of a pot which allows a perfectly sized lid to snugly fit within.
This video was shot in January, but I am just getting it up now! I thought it would be a good distraction video. Note the contact information below for ordering. I have used it multiple times and I LOVE it! It is compact, sturdy, and I have found no issues whatsoever! I would highly recommend.

email is [email protected]. The system comes with 1 Master bat and six, six inch inserts. Our price for the bat system is $80 and each additional insert is $3.50. Plus freight which so far everyone I have sent has been around $30. This is all Canadian dollar pricing

I am a public high school ceramics teacher at William Mason High School in Mason, Ohio. (Mason is currently the largest high school in Ohio!) As a potter, I have been working in clay for over 30 years, and I have been teaching for over 28 years, the past 20 have been specifically teaching high school ceramics. I love what I do!
