Well, at the end of the day I expected way more from Ming, and in general I was left feeling...meh about it all. My Stand In promised a lot in the beginning and had fabulous set up, but in the end I think it failed to deliver due to poor plot pacing, dragging out the is he/isn't he Joe plot line in the middle for far too long, then throwing in Tong's financial issues and Ming's family problems without properly introducing them, and then also tossing in a random relationship between the brother and secretary we know practically nothing about was unnecessary time lost to more important plots. But in general all the actors did a fabulous job with the scripts they were given and I still enjoyed my time with this show.
