So . . . how IS your balance?  Do you ever do silly little things when you are in a group, like close your eyes, stand on one foot & try to touch your nose?  As we age our balance can become compromised for a number of reasons.  But just because it's become compromised or is not what it used to be does not mean there aren't things you can do to improve it.  So what CAN YOU DO THEN?

In this video Coach Chris and Coach Tonya demonstrate for you the TOP 3 EXERCISES you can do right AT HOME to IMPROVE your  BALANCE!

Can You...   then you may already know where your balance is at and if you want to improve it then this video showing you these TOP 3 exercises will help.  With regular practice of these SIMPLE BALANCE EXERCISES you should start to see an improvement in your overall balance.

You ready?!?!?  STEADY . . . SET . . . LET'S GO . . .

Balance Exercise #1:  Heel to Toe Walking - Forwards and Backwards
  * Can hold arms out at sides to help
  * Practice this several times a day


Balance Exercise #2:  Balance On One Foot
  * Just like it says
  * Try this while doing dishes
  * If hard at first use support working up to to 12, 20, 30 seconds & so on


Balance Exercise #3:   Wobble Board
  * First from sitting to get ankles familiar with range of motion
  * Standing while holding a chair back & rock back & forth
  * Standing while holding a chair back & rotate in circular motions in each direction
  * Standing balance  without support but have chair handy
  * Rotate wobble board without support but have chair handy
  * Perform chair assisted knee bends
  * Graduate to non-assisted knee bends . . . try going as far as you can


Again, I do encourage you to take 10 minutes out of your day to practice this simple exercise to help improve and maintain better balance.
