Plarail 2014 Caitlin & Connor Express engines set Unboxing review and first run (with race)

Hi Guys and Gals here we have the Express engines set with Connor and Caitlin from TOMY Plarail. This is the first release of Caitlin and a gold chrome plated lost crown from the King of the railway movie.
Both engines are longer than the Trackmaster versions, both have very high levels of detail and look superb! Both have that new type of overly complicated drive unit (with many many gears) which runs on a single AA battery. My Caitlin appears to be an error version as the tender is backwards!
Both run really well but it should be noted that after filming Connor was noticeably noisier than Caitlin and lost allot of speed quite quickly (after maybe 8-10 laps). I'm sure it's due to the drive units complex layout of seemingly unnecessary gears but it was strange that Caitlin was unaffected.
The crown car is the same as the version that came with Plarail Stephen except recolored and the crown is gold chrome plated instead of the dull bronzey color of Stephens crown. The pack also contains the ulfstead castle logo shield decals to apply to Connor and Caitlin and they look of a very high quality thick material.
There are 2 QR codes that can be scanned with an android or apple device but I have yet to scan them to see what they are, maybe some of you could pause the video and scan the QR codes :D
I am very happy to have this pack but it was not cheap!
I give this pack a score of 8/10 because it was annoying to have to buy Connor again as I already have the single release Connor. Although it does give me a chance to super detail one which I admit I love to do and am getting wary about customizing engines I only have one of, especially with the demise of the original Trackmasters and they are getting super hard to find as they are not being made anymore.
