The German Officer Sword Experience | Enlisted

Enlisted recently had an event that gave an officer sword to any country in any campaign. Unfortunately, you could only obtain one of these swords and were not interchangeable between campaigns even if it was for the same faction. For whatever reason, I chose the German Officer Sword in the Battle of Berlin, which is arguably the hardest faction to use a melee weapon in because of the immense amount of Soviet SMG squads around the place; however, the sword makes your soldier run really fast, and is actually extremely fun to use. Though the sword is impractical in most situations, it is still very rewarding, and entertaining to use. This also gives me a ton of hope for when Japan is added to the game, as I cannot wait to charge the Marines in the Pacific with a Katana. It also gives me some major MoH: Rising Sun nostalgia. I hope Gaijin/Darkflow continue to add more weapons such as this one, and maybe even bring this set of swords back for a future event because as mentioned before, they are a blast to use.
